Fluffy, Fun, and Full of Goodness: Hibiscus & Marshmallow Root Marshmallows for Happy Tummies!

Who says marshmallows are just sugary treats? At Miho, we believe in making every bite count! Introducing Herbal Marshmallows—a delicious, fluffy, and fun snack that’s not just tasty but also great for little tummies. These marshmallows are made with a magical blend of hibiscus and marshmallow root, creating a soft, bouncy treat that’s packed with natural goodness!

Why These Marshmallows Are Special

Most marshmallows are just sugar and air, but our herbal marshmallows are different! They’re made with:

  • Hibiscus – A superhero flower rich in antioxidants that gives these marshmallows a beautiful pink hue and a subtle tartness.
  • Marshmallow Root – Not just a fun name! This ancient herb is known for its gut-friendly, skin-loving, and soothing properties.
  • Pure Maple Syrup – A natural sweetener that makes these marshmallows taste like a warm hug!
  • Pasture-Raised Gelatin – For that bouncy, fluffy texture, plus a boost of protein and gut health benefits.

How to Make Your Own Magical Marshmallows!

Your little chefs will love helping out with this fun recipe!

Step 1: Make the Magic Potion (Cold-Water Infusion)

Before we make the marshmallows, we need a special herbal infusion that brings all the goodness together.

What You Need:
✔ 2 tbsp Marshmallow Root
✔ 2 tbsp Hibiscus Flowers
✔ 2 ½ cups Cold, Filtered Water

How to Make It:

  • In a big jar, mix marshmallow root and hibiscus.
  • Pour in cold water and let it sit for at least 4 hours (or overnight for extra magic!).
  • Strain the herbs and keep 1 cup of the infusion for the marshmallows.

Step 2: Make the Fluffiest Marshmallows

Now for the fun part—turning this potion into soft, bouncy marshmallows!

Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup Pasture-Raised Gelatin
  • 1 cup Hibiscus & Marshmallow Root Infusion
  • 1 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional, for extra yumminess!)
  • ¼ tsp Sea Salt

How to Make It:

  • Bloom the Gelatin: In a mixing bowl, sprinkle gelatin over the hibiscus & marshmallow root infusion. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to absorb the liquid.
  • Heat the Maple Syrup: In a small saucepan, bring maple syrup to a boil for about 1 minute.
  • Whip It Up: Start mixing the bloomed gelatin at low speed, then slowly pour in the hot syrup while whipping. Turn up the speed and whip for 5-7 minutes until it’s fluffy, tripled in size, and looks like soft clouds! Add vanilla and salt.
  • Pour & Set: Quickly pour into a greased dish (8x8 works well) and smooth it out.
  • Let It Rest: Leave it uncovered for at least 2 hours to set.
  • Cut & Enjoy! Slice into squares, store in an airtight container, and snack away!

Ways to Enjoy These Herbal Treats

  • Melt them into a warm cup of milk for a cozy nighttime drink.
  • Pack them in lunchboxes for a fun, healthy snack!
  • Let kids cut them into fun shapes—stars, hearts, or even little bears!
