Meet the Founder – Parushi Garg

I’m Parushi, a NIFT graduate specialising in Knitwear Design, and the mind and heart behind our Ayurvastra vision. My work blends contemporary design with India’s ancient textile wisdom, rooted in my belief that clothing should nurture both the body and the mind.

My journey through textile research, sustainable processes, and natural dye practices led me to revive Ayurvastra as a modern wellness textile. With every piece I create, I aim to make wellness wearable, bringing purity, purpose, and mindful craftsmanship back into everyday living.

My research has been recognised through multiple honours, including winning the HimGra Design for Icon Award 2025 and a nomination at the Sustainable Next Conference Awards 2023.
