Meet the Founder – Parushi Garg

Parushi, a NIFT graduate specialising in Knitwear Design, is the mind and heart behind our Ayurvastra vision. Her work blends contemporary design with India’s ancient textile wisdom, rooted in her belief that clothing should nurture both body and mind.

Her experience across textile research, sustainable processes, and natural dye practices led her to revive Ayurvastra as a modern wellness textile. With every piece she creates, Parushi aims to make wellness wearable, bringing purity, purpose, and mindful craftsmanship back into everyday living.

Her research has earned multiple recognitions, including winning the HimGra Design for Icon Award 2025 and a nomination at the Sustainable Next Conference Awards 2023.
